Name: Anh I like your photos. It was very enjoyable. Name: wednesday comprehensible; involving Name: John Coe Name: tc worley I enjoyed the site quite a bit. I really like the everyday section of photos.
That is sort of my current mission for my photography . it was nice to see some
quality stuff. Name: John Barry Fantastic sight. It really got me thinking that most of the photos I really
love are of ordinary people, places or objects.(Edward Weston comes to mind).
You really inspired me to stop wishing for something exciting to shoot and just
really see what's already in front of me in a new way. I especially liked the
tips on backlighting, and getting down low when shooting. Name: Jay Mohler Great to see you are still in photography. I was a student in 1964 (or so).
Nice shots as far as I looked, will visit again. I woulda had the photos larger myself. Name: Greg Anzalone Loved your site, your sharpening hints were very helpfull! Name: Austin Michael So good I want to use them I need some pictures for a site that has to do with business, ie:
construction workers, lawyers in court, that kind of subject. Name: Shelley Coe Wonderful! Informative and impressive. Of course, I'm not a professional
photog, but I have a friend who is, so I'm gonna e-mail him and tell him to
check it out. Name: i think your site is very very good and quite informative on photography
(your pictures are beautiful) I'm a photpgrapher too, from 10 years ago... I'll try to find a new ideas in
the world, principally from weddings, portraits and family photos . I love all
photography styles, I'm freelance during 10 years and I dedicate absolutely to
commercial and advertising photographs. I'm going to visit you by this way many
times in the future. See you and thanks for everything. I was looking for LSD i don't know how i got on your page but i'm in art
class now and it wasn't bad maybe some more trippy pictures I loved this site. I really enjoyed the slide show. This is messed up shit, but i like it I loved your pictures. I would like to find out more about photography, but I
am not sure what to do. it was pretty cool i think you need more stuff though NEED MORE STUFF i think that they are ok, but they need more graphics in them. they are a
little dumb though there was fresh announcement in a newsgroup all photo pages as said
are updated in September... I do like the photos but I would expect such kind of
site is constantly growing. Tips are also nice but too short and generic. Keep
going and update more actively! This is an excellent resource. I have book marked it and will return. No opinions. Too many people ask me: "What are you doing?! There is not
anything interesting there!". But when they say that, I make my best
photos. Do it! Great site! THEY ARE COOL. MORE PICTURS FANTASTIC, you are a great inspiration for me, your tips and opinions have
helped me with my 'work brief' which is due in tomorrow in studio arts!! may be abit more about your technique email us if you have any cool sites on photography illusions. Thanks!! - - Thanks, I enjoyed your work, one of the nicest photo sites I've seen. Dave I can tell from your site you truly love photography. You seem to want to
share your enthusiasm and your craft. I also love photography and appreciate
this. Your photos have beautiful color and nice composition. Enjoyed site, the breath taking photography...I esp. like the vivid color...
composition.. just the whole darn thing and not least of these...your humor.
Thanks, I'll visit again and again to learn how to use a camera in a better and
more creative way. wow, great functionality, consistent design and great content...i wish more
people did pages like this. do you have any water images? that's what i would like to see Great work and excellent tips, you have convinced me to get the Photoshop
program and enhance some of my stuff. Great site. Loved your digital tip on "Unsharp Mask" and converting
to lab color. I never knew this and this will be quite helpful for me as I use
Photoshop(5.5) A very inspiring and beautiful site. The site is magnificent and the pictures are miraculous. Thank you for
sharing your spectacular craftsmanship. More Way to Go, Loading long distance so can't browse much until we return to
Bodfish CA. How about a visit or call? Hi Jim, Thanks for putting my site up on briefme.com. And even more thanx for
comparing my pix to the ones of National Geographic. Wow! Haven't been working
for them so far, but one never knows ... Your art and your page is beautiful, I
especially liked your pix about the Homo Sapiens species. If you ever happen to
be in Europe sometimes, call me up.
All the best,
Adrian
Keep it up ! I love it. You view everyday life through the eyes of a lover, where there is
beauty in everything you see. My favorite in the Everyday section is the Hands
and Knees, but you didn't look too bad in the space helmet either! I have no suggestions other than that I would like to return to view the rest
of your creations. just now entering your site. Fascinating site. You have such an inspiring bio. The pictures are great. Great pics, fast site fancy fine art photography is interesting to me. it's a way of expressing oneself.
i don't know anything concerning fine art photography. i do find your pictures
interesting, though i don't find a connection with fine art photography. but
then, my idea of what fine art is, differs from yours. I think your slide show with the effects is absolutely incredible. I belong
to two camera clubs in the Greater Boston area and while I have seen slide shows
until they were coming out of my ears, your site takes the cake! You have some very distinguished photos. I especially enjoyed the cloud and
starburst. Some great ones but some rather ordinary, be more selective! (Good advice for
me too!) Photo's did not inspire me but the site is quite good. I like Glen Gaffney's
site and photo's. I may be very critical but I know what I like. The slide show
was very effective & could be improved upon with more photo's Pictures with impact. Not necessarily in color. Site is great - - - I haven't finished looking at it yet. (I kept seeing the
"Visit Guest Book" message). I enjoyed the pictures, with the lighting and reflections. Keep up the good
work. I love your pictures and the clues you give to other human beings about how
to get the effects. Excellent! This is a great site with nice, simple, convenient design and
wonderful pictures. I'm just learning photography, and impressed about how you
discover the beauty in ordinary scenes. Some tip or design references (red dots) don't have own target, just point
into the mid of the others. If you create a reference, it should have the small
picture and its own description separate of the others. And I want more, more,
more pictures. I love this site! I book marked it for future reference. Just recently got a
digital camera and have a lot to learn about digital images. I think this site
will be very helpful. Katje None at this time, maybe after i have been to the site a few times. Great pictures GOOD PICS MORE VARIETY I LIKE PORTRAITURE & TASTEFUL NUDES I had to find a mentor for my art exam essay, you're it. I love these
pictures. I think it's great how you comment and talk about the pictures. that's
great. i like this site. it's easy to get around. I like these pictures...one's of stars and such are beautiful as well do some
of those. Great site. I am a serious, but relatively new hobbyist. Your comments on
finding "Great Pictures" in ordinary settings is helpful And
reassuring, as extensive travel is not currently an option More of the same, and thanks Good, unified design. Excellent photographs! It's nice to see a site that
concentrates on image composition and design. It's refreshing to visit this site
after wading through endless sites babbling about photographic equipment instead
of style. Navigation is a bit difficult - I suggest a web map to all articles on the
main page. It's easy to get lost, and wonder if anything has been missed. On my
browser (Netscape 4) the "Submit" button at the bottom of this
guestbook form is overlapped by the "Reset" button. you have a good eye for green. care about colorblindness after 45 sir. nice
overall spread - as all images are art, these I imagine fit the definition. Art seldom copies itself. For art's sake, perhaps views of things as they are
and look otherwise might be quite interesting. Fantastic site. Fantastic photos. Can't wait to come back when I have more
time. Your manifesto: I wish I had written it myself. Perfect! What a great site! I really enjoyed combination of photos and tips. I will be
re-visiting soon to study it more closely. I think using children is sick for an LSD pic. don't get me wrong i have
tripped thousands of times but u really shouldn't involve children in your
pictures - other than that it was straight. very good the girl with flowers a story of your life and how you got into photography gorgeous!!! Wonderful photos!! i thought you would focus on the human faces!

I have looked at a lot of photography webs and others tonight and so far yours looks the best.:-)!
Great sight
None
Very interesting. Just passing through.
I was just trying to find out an answer to FrontPage question, read your posting, and checked out your site.
I told a friend who's in photography about your site.
I did notice that a few of your photos are not showing up.. you get the browser broken image graphic. This I noticed while in the photo tips section...the page with Geronimo's reflection....good work!
nice point of view
shoot-show some black and white
I really like the photo with the sun's reflection on the airplane wing
I think your site is really beautiful, well designed, and downloaded quickly. It is apparent you have really worked hard on honing it into a work of art!
I have painted for 25 years... just started photographing more "seriously", or more "consciously"... and have been searching the web for photo galleries... your page is a great inspiration!!! I especially appreciate the thoughts and tips!
this page is really awesome. Got some crazy ass pics.
p.s. accidentally hit the wrong button on the other thing I submitted to this page.
This site's a trip.
Nothing seen yet
Absolutely love your work Your subjects are what I look for in nature also.
keep on doing what you are doing,by all means!
33-22=?
xx
I saw your homepage, and I was very much impressed. It is wonderful !
Hi, Jim, Terrific site!! all the tech info is invaluable. I especially love that when the site loads you get right to the heart of your work- which is great. Thanks for all your work..will be back freq. :)Missy

I like the fact that you explain how you took the photos and techniques you used.

do you have any photos of spectacular sunsets and sunrises, hollywood and hawaiian photos. I am new to the net and would like to download images. thank you
I enjoyed your website and photos. I am also a photographer with an eye for the abstract in Nature. Your site is an affirmation to all of us who seek that connection with the profound and extraordinary wonders that are awaiting discovery when we take time to look around us. Thank you for the inspiration and wonderful photos!
this is the shit that got my head where it's at. not a complaint!
your work is awesome will you do a photosession with a recording artist for a c.d. cover please advise
Nice layout and pictures
Really good page!

Excelente site!!!
Está perfeito, não mude nada. (Perfect, do not change nothing.)
I would love to buy some of your art and print/frame it.
Excellent Work !
You are very very talented. You have heart!
AWESOME photo's!
i loved your work in general and my favorite turn on is the fact you give advice and encourage future photographers- thank you brandice desiree mueller
I enjoy your site and tips very much I also find everyday pictures extremely interesting. My favorite thing is to take pictures of people. You can view some of my pictures at http://www.geocities.com/athens/forum/8222 You may especially like one of my collages called "Look Down!". I would appreciate any comments or suggestions you may have. Please sign my guestbook. thank you.
Possibly add a button to the bottom of the full size picture linking to the tip.
great site, one of the few I have found that offers instructional comments, thank you
keep the instructions coming
nice photos and very fine study of nature, I enjoyed looking at them and found what i am looking for.. samples of simple but basic natural forms. thanks.
i want to be involved in this. please keep me informed. very progressive.
Great Site. Very easy to navigate. I'm new to photography (6mo) but I think I'm comming along okay. If you get the time check out my site at www.islandnet.com/~timespac/kmcphoto.html
Hi, I like your site...
Good web design, some creative and helpful features, easy to navigate and the pages load relatively quickly.
Within the gallery "everyday magic"-I liked "girl inside dark box at birthday party" and "lsd Party" the best, just slightly surreal and a little dark, liked these qualities.
Also liked your links particularly "Joyce Tenneson" she is one of my contemporary favorites. I find her self-portraits both fascinating and enchanting.
Keep up the good work, I look forward to seeing more of your work.
Jaeda
Just wanted to commend you on a great site. The tips and glossary are of great help for us amateur photographers.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!
You're photos are really good! I enjoyed them a lot.
great photo's, and fab sense of humor!!!!
don't change a thing, I like your format!
I'm very impressed!! I especially like "everyday magic."
I enjoyed your people photos, especially the 60's acid party. (perhaps because I'm an art student) The way the person in the foreground is out of focus while the others in back are in focus makes the image seem disturbing, in a wonderful way.
It is most definitely refreshing, healing, and revitalizing. It made my day! I'm proud of such positive masterpieces of Life and the photographer. ¡Muchas gracias desde Costa Rica!
Give the world an opportunity to have a look at the natural wonders we have got here in Costa Rica. Everyone will thank you for it! Come to our country and see it for yourself, then take it in pictures with you.
I love this site...photos are wonderful! thanks...eleanor
Depth-of-focus is not the same as depth-of-field -- you may want to change this. They are separate terms.
Great site,nice photography and design
Love the site. Want to take classes. Looks just great. Will tell other photographers nearby.
Keep up good work. Would love Beverly to sign on, but she's not internet ready yet. Has 386, Win 3.1, modem.
Very nice images. Quick loading. Regards, John Nau www.bahnhof.se/~nau
I really enjoyed your photos. But the explanations were more of a help to valid what the eye can see or should see in a photo. You critiqued my page back in Feb of this year. The comments you made has caused me to re-evaluate the way I see through the lens. I will redo my page in the very near future. I am looking forward to your instructional series ($10 is cheap), but the the information I envision will be priceless.
Great; BEYOND my expectations.
Bio needs changing from "jumps to conclusions" to: Running, walking, sit-ups, lifting weights for the burn, bicycling, all for the FUN of it.
I personally know exactly what to do, have done it, but, I too, am still, like Jim, jumping to conclusions for exercise and can not seem to make that gigantic jump to what is best for me. ITS TOUGH.
Nice work and thank you for sharing your world. I like the fact that you have not only images but information. I've done a similar thing in a more limited way in my site of night photographs from Kyoto, Japan -- http://pobox.com/~divad.
I wasn't sure what some of the dots meant next to the thumbnails. I clicked a couple but they didn't seem to be links.
The light in the photographs of Jim Coe accompanies the subjects, as though its purpose is to caress them. Incredible.
I would hope this takes off.

I came to this site because I'm taking Photo class and I had to do a project on a photographer. I chose this site because I loved the idea of seeing beauty in everyday things. The pictures were beautiful!
Hi folks, thanks Sheila. Hope the new Guest Book form layout helps. Now I know why I got so few suggestions in the past....
Please keep those suggestions and critiques coming!
Love your site, Jim. Just taking a third visit! Your work, and your site are great.
This form to fill in on your Guest Book, is so wide across my screen that I have to scroll to the right to see this box (your suggestions?) Then I looked everywhere for the Submit button - finally got it right over on the right even further! But then I'm sometimes a bit slow :o) Keep up the good work, Jim.
Great site and well planned. Quality photos and information. Certainly worth return visits.
Curious about other Jim Coe's
i love your art, and i call it this because it is truly amazing, the colours, the original, weird style that you have. anyone who can turn the earth into something beautiful must be so romantic and very very imaginative. i would just like to add that your art just makes me want to go out, and plant a huge forest, of trees and celebrate the true beauty of the world that is.
please don't ever stop. your just plain beautiful. i love you.
nice job..really enjoyed it here.
Nice site - beautiful photographs. I really enjoyed browsing through your pages. Thank you. http://www.anet-chi.com/~yopark/

Very nice site - lots of slow downloading graphics, but in your case, it is consistent with what you are doing. Only negative is that there is so much material, it's easy to get lost...
Tighten up the navigation, so people can more directly get to where they're going, without having to download lots of pages.
I am working on my first web (intranet) w/Frontpage98. If you can give me some pointers re: Personal Web Server, that would be great!
Just what the world needs more of... pictures of random inanimate objects. You need more pictures of rocks. Rocks and road signs.
its really nice from cecilie from norway
everything looked good to me, nice work
very nice
Jim, I enjoyed your photos especially the one of the gold hills of home... Thanks, Dave Hambly North Bay Multimedia Association

Your use of sand gold color is great.
I always thought of making a GUI based on the same.
